Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute–designated cancer center in Washington. Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of department/study policies and procedures.
- Track and courier research samples and products as necessary.
- Serve as department/study liaison and provide information to Center staff and outside organizations.
- Maintain updated policies and procedures manuals.
- Make accurate and complete postings to department/study records and maintain files and filing system in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Ordering and assembling research kits and delivering to appropriate labs.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school graduation or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to problem solve and to prioritize multiple competing tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative focus is essential, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, including general office skills (e.g., typing and filing).
- Ability to work with multiple data management systems including generating reports and sourcing data from systems.
Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is from $25.72 to $36.62 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
