Position Description
The Program Assistant provides high-quality support to the Northwest Passage program. Key responsibilities include:
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls
- Greeting and assisting visitors, maintaining a welcoming and organized front office environment
- Overseeing staff scheduling, collaborating with program supervisors
- Maintaining and updating spreadsheets for data tracking
- Aiding in client record management, such as requesting, scanning, and filing documentation
- Prioritizing and managing large volumes of information, calls, and administrative tasks
- Working independently and within teams on both ongoing and special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an office or administrative setting preferred
- Familiarity with office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills in both oral and written formats
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Professional handling of confidential information
- Ability to work independently and with a team
