Program Analyst

About the role

The Program Analyst will work on-site with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), E Department, supporting complex and unique technical support assignments. The position involves procurement support, project financial analysis, and assist in R&D program development, in-service support, and procurements of supplies and materials supporting the Littoral Combat Ship Gun Mission Module.

Responsibilities

• Develop life cycle cost analyses for the LCS GMM projects
• Understand program management concepts supporting the optimization of cost, schedule, and technical performance
• Provide technical analysis of documentation in support of various events and milestone reviews
• Support procurements and project financial analysis
• Assist in R&D program development, in-service support, and procurements of supplies and material supporting the Littoral Combat Ship Gun Mission Module

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree desired, preferably in business/technical curriculum
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum of five (5+) years’ work experience in project/program support analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives
• Experience related to Gun Weapon Systems and/or Navy programs
• Experience developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, inspection, and maintenance, and assisting engineers in inspecting products, conducting tests, and collecting data
• Experience analyzing information, systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology

Skills

• Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to NSWCDD, Dahlgren, VA.
