Program Analyst

About the role

Bowhead seeks a Program Analyst who will perform project management tasking for multiple projects including: maintaining schedules, Cost and Spend plans, and statements of work; creating quarterly and annual presentations that reflect project progress; and responding to data calls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules, Cost and Spend plans, and statements of work
• Create quarterly and annual presentations that reflect project progress
• Respond to data calls
• Maintain a consumables inventory, procure necessary items and track their status
• Submit procurement contract packages
• Assist in report writing
• Perform raw data records management
• Coordinate Government inputs, generate and deliver program documentation
• Facilitate and attend meetings to take minutes and gather data
• Update documentation real-time during meetings
• Track meeting action items and maintain records reflecting both open and closed action items
• Coordinate document input/updates from multiple organizations (currently up to 12 individuals contributing to monthly report document)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or greater
• Two (2+) plus years of professional experience with a DOD program
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Qualified experience in the drafting and review of project technical documentation, including reviewing for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting
• Ability to clearly communicate

Pay

Target salary is $70,000/annually to $95,000/annually commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position is full-time in Dahlgren, VA.

Security clearance

Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Physical demands

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
