The positions are located in the Contracts Management Directorate of the Integrated External Networks (IEN) in Washington - DC and Denver - CO.
About the role
Program Analysts provide a wide variety of technical and administrative responsibilities to support a full range of contract administration responsibilities for community care or ancillary contracts.
Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes, interprets, and applies administrative laws, regulations, and operating policies related to healthcare operations/programs.
- Manages projects/programs by planning, scheduling, organizing, and monitoring work performance and meeting established target dates.
- Manages contracts and modifications.
- Communicate issues surrounding contract performance and mitigation activities.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry practices to process medical claims and reimbursements.
- Uses automated systems and office software applications to analyze data, conduct research, and prepare reports.
Qualifications
- One year specialized experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
- To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in Federal service.
- Examples of specialized experience include:
- reviewing, analyzing, interpreting, and applying administrative laws, regulations, and operating policies related to healthcare operations/programs;
- managing projects/programs by planning, scheduling, organizing, and monitoring work performance and meeting established target dates;
- managing contracts and modifications;
- communicating issues surrounding contract performance and mitigation activities;
