PROGRAM ANALYST

This position is in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) under 10 USC 1599f and does not convey eligibility for conversion to the Competitive Service. It is a Professional Work Category role at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure, supporting the mission of the US Cyber Command.

About the role

The purpose of this position is to serve as a Logistics Support Specialist in the Satellite Communications Division at DISA's Teleport Program Office. The incumbent will support Agency and Department of Defense (DoD) programmatic initiatives through property custodianship, inventory management, shipping, storage, and related logistics activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a logistician within Program Executive Office Transport.
• Analyze project plans, resource expenditures, and risk assessment data to evaluate the project's ability to meet stated and desired Logistics objectives from both program and Agency-wide perspectives.
• Develop, maintain, and update Logistics documentation for the SATCOM portfolio (e.g., LCSPs, SOPs, CONOPS, Maintainability Demonstration Plans, Training Plans).
• Maintain DISA property and inventory across Teleport sites and relevant labs.
• Generate required logistics documentation for transporting equipment custody and ownership.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to conduct inventory and equipment transfers at worldwide sites.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
• This national security position requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
• In accordance with DoD 8140 policy, the position requires completing Foundational Qualifications within 9 months and Residential Qualification requirements within 12 months.

Qualifications

To qualify at the GG-12 level, your resume must describe at least one year of experience demonstrating the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience includes:

• Property management, government furnished property management, and logistical procurement activities.
• Paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and military service, that builds relevant competencies.

Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-12 grade level.
