Program Analyst – J6 Business Administration Office (BAO)

Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer. This position supports the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) J6 Business Administration Office (BAO) at MacDill AFB.
Responsibilities
- Utilize web-based portals and tools to manage, track, and organize programs supporting the J6 BAO.
- Support J6 BAO administration efforts, including training coordination, Task Management Tool (TMT) taskers, and policy implementation tracking.
- Monitor compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate effective communication, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Quickly learn and integrate into the USSOCOM mission and organizational culture.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support various J6 BAO initiatives and special projects as assigned.
- Collaborate with government personnel and stakeholders to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Aid in the development, review, and maintenance of policy and administrative documentation.
- Generate reports and assist in analyzing organizational performance against established standards.
- Prepare briefings, training materials, and operating procedure documentation.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support leadership decision-making.
- Maintain issue-tracking logs and coordinate follow-up actions with responsible parties.
- Provide planning support, including scheduling, budgeting, and performance monitoring activities.
- Gather and analyze data to produce recurring program status reports.
- Process travel requests and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage incoming correspondence and ensure appropriate routing and distribution.
- Cook up travel arrangements in collaboration with the Travel Coordinator.
- Organize meetings, events, and virtual sessions, including agenda development and meeting documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using web-based portals and document management systems.
- Interest in program management, project scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
