About the role
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is seeking a Program Analyst to join the USSTRATCOM/J8 team at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will analyze and evaluate issues, develop recommendations, and establish policies, regulations, and procedures for assigned major command programs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate issues, develop recommendations, and determine necessary policies, regulations, directives, programs, doctrine, resources, and procedures for assigned major command programs.
- Advise senior military and government leaders on advance defense programs and integrate emerging technologies.
- Collaborate across DoD, national labs, academia, and industry to close capability gaps.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
- Must handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
- Designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret w/SCI clearance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to assess and improve command-level plans and programs.
- Experience with one or more of the assigned mission areas of strategic deterrence, CJADC2, NC3, EMSO, space, cyberspace operations, and ISR.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively, both orally and in writing.

Pay
Salary range is $89,507 - $138,369 annually based on experience.
