About the role

Credence supports mission-critical needs for federal defense and health organizations through cutting-edge solutions in AI/ML, enterprise modernization, and advanced intelligence. This role supports the AFLCMC/RSO at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, whose mission is to advance the Secretary of the Air Force’s direction by leveraging technology to reduce sustainment costs and improve readiness. The RSO serves as a center of excellence for identifying, maturing, and transitioning technologies with measurable impacts on readiness, cost, and usability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Acquisition Sustainment Reviews, Congressional inquiries, and Crisis Action Team (CAT) activities.
  • Perform duties of an Action Officer, including preparing briefings; developing, coordinating, and completing required analysis on suspense responses; and formulating recommended courses of action for leadership decisions using the suspense tracking system and SharePoint task tracker.
  • Respond to taskers rapidly by identifying problems, analyzing issues, developing courses of action, and making recommendations suitable for general officer-level review.
  • Assist with manning and screening the RSO workflow.
  • Support the overall management of assigned programs and interact with lateral organizations or external agencies as required.
  • Support Government requirements for internal and external briefings and reports by assisting with preparation, scheduling, coordination of materials, and review of correspondence.
  • Produce letters, reports, spreadsheets, database reports, and graphs using standard USAF office automation software.
  • Assist the RSO Operations (OPS) suspense and tracking team, including suspense tracking in the suspense management system.
  • Review the RSO OPS electronic workflow mailbox, coordinate responses with appropriate two-letter directorates, and assign OPS action officers to each task.
  • Prepare weekly status briefings of late and upcoming suspenses for OPS Chief review at the OPS Staff Meeting.
  • Assist with the closure and packaging of suspenses.
  • Train RSO OPS and two-letter action officers on the use of the suspense tracking system and answer technical and process-related questions.
  • Provide direct support to turn data into usable and actionable output for AFLCMC senior leaders, including researching, creating, assigning, tracking, and communicating with higher headquarters or directorate-level offices.
  • Assist in updating and retrieving information in the center MS SharePoint document library.
  • Assist in compiling, formatting, and storing directorate-level inputs to taskings to support development of the center response.
  • Utilize both NIPRNet and SIPRNet electronic mail to request, compile responses, and transmit approved responses to higher headquarters or Congressional inquiries.
  • Assist in managing and tracking the civilian and military decoration programs for the center and coordinate with the Directorate of Personnel awards monitor to track all awards packages.

Requirements

  • Must have at least a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, three (3) of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR, seven (7) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
  • Expert knowledge with TMF (Task Management Framework).
  • Familiarity with programmatic taskers.
  • Experience handling and distributing taskers.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
