Program Aide
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Program Aide to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a structured Adult Day Program. In this role, you will help participants build daily living skills, engage in meaningful activities, and foster independence in a safe, supportive environment. This position requires creativity, flexibility, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist adults with IDD with daily routines, personal care, and mobility as needed
- Lead and support group and individual activities focused on life skills, social skills, and recreation
- Encourage independence, positive behavior, and active participation
- Adapt activities to meet individual needs and abilities
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment
- Document participant progress and communicate with team members
- Maintain a clean, organized program space and assist with setup and cleanup
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with IDD preferred
Schedule
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay
Earn up to 418.00/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay option
