About the role
The Program Aide will assist in providing comprehensive support to Head Start programs, ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with federal guidelines and local requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and maintaining records and files related to program participants.
- Support teachers and staff in implementing educational activities and curricula.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss program progress and address any issues.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry and report generation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience working with children and/or in a childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Head Start program standards and regulations.
