About the role

The Program Action Officer supports a USN Government Program Manager within a fast-paced Department of the Navy (DoN) mission area. The role involves coordinating across stakeholders, generating staff products, tracking actions and deliverables, and keeping program activities synchronized on behalf of the PM.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure program activities are aligned and executed effectively
  • Generate and produce senior-level staff documents that meet high-quality standards
  • Manage and track actions and deliverables to ensure timely completion
  • Communicate effectively to ensure the program achieves its goals and adheres to quality standards

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience supporting DoW or DON missions
  • 3+ years of experience in DON acquisition
  • Knowledge of tactical data flows, sensor integration, and/or connected military operations
  • Ability to produce senior-level staff documents and manage multi-stakeholder coordination
  • Top Secret clearance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in the Navy or Marine Corps in uniform (nice to have)
  • 5+ years of experience with the Intelligence Community (nice to have)
  • Experience as a military staff action officer (nice to have)
  • Experience supporting Joint Staff, Combatant Command, NAVSEA, or cross-Service integration (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of military targeting architecture (nice to have)
  • TS/SCI clearance (required)

Skills

Strong Department of War (DOW)/DON and acquisition experience, understanding of tactical data flows, sensor integration, and/or connected military operations, ability to produce senior-ready outputs, and excellent management of complex operational and technical details.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).
