Description Of Duties
- Teach assigned courses in accordance with the course syllabi and the schedule of the Radiologic Technology Program.
- Report directly to the Program Director and the Dean, Health Sciences Division.
- Teach fifteen (15) credit hours per semester and maintain a minimum of twelve and one half (12.5) office hours per week.
- Develop and maintain course syllabi and materials.
- Teach collaboratively within the Radiologic Technology Program.
- Aid with student advisement; committee work for the Program and the College.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Director and/or the Dean, Health Sciences Division.
- Responsible for didactic and laboratory teaching, including maintaining learning management system and keeping student feedback current.
- Supervise clinical instruction, perform clinical evaluations, and advise students.
- Facilitate and maintain communication between assigned clinical facility and the Clinical Coordinator.
- Participation in state society events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director of Radiologic Technology.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT (R) certification.
- Three (3) years full-time clinical experience.
- A strong commitment to professional advancement in current trends in Allied Health Education.
- One (1) year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.
- Proficient in curriculum development, instruction methodologies, and construction of assessment tools.
- Microsoft Office proficient.
- Light lifting up to 10 lbs. and light carrying up to 10 lbs.
- Mobility to move from building to building on-campus and to visit off-campus sites/facilities.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, education, or related field.
- Teaching experience in an Associate Degree program.
- Knowledge of learning management systems.
