About the role

Full-time, non-tenure system faculty position in Information Systems within the Management Science area at the Freeman School of Business, Tulane University. The appointment is at the rank of Professor of Practice for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2027, subject to final budgetary approval. Salary, teaching load, and benefits are competitive with other major research institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver rigorous undergraduate and graduate courses, often with an experiential learning focus.
  • Remain active in the field through professional and scholarly activities.
  • Contribute service to the Management Science Area, the Freeman School, and Tulane University.
  • Build relationships with industry partners.

Requirements

  • Professionally qualified candidates: Master’s Degree in Management Science or a related field and a substantial record of recent professional experience.
  • Academically qualified candidates: Ph.D. in Management Science and active engagement in scholarly and/or professional activities.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication skills and/or success in classroom teaching.
  • Experience with experiential learning.
  • Expertise in advanced business analytics using Excel, R, and Python.
  • Proficiency in data visualization using Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Collegial and collaborative approach.
