Job Summary
The Daniels School of Business (DSB) at Purdue University invites applications for the tenured associate/full professor position beginning in Fall 2026. The primary responsibilities will be to conduct impactful high-quality research at the intersection of Business and Technology, teach at the undergraduate and graduate level, participate in course/curriculum development, and provide service to DSB, the University, and the Information Systems academic community. Responsibilities
- Conduct impactful high-quality research at the intersection of Business and Technology
- Teach at the undergraduate and graduate level
- Participate in course/curriculum development
- Provide service to DSB, the University, and the Information Systems academic community
Requirements
- A Ph. D. in Information Systems (IS), Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline by the starting date
- Excellent record of published research in premier outlets and recognition in the Information Systems academic community, commensurate with the rank
- Evidence of teaching excellence
Qualifications
- Research focus in the economics of information systems covering topics such as digital transformations, digital economy, and artificial intelligence (AI)
- Additional areas of research interest include trustworthy AI, emerging technologies and business models, and technology governance and regulations
