Professional-Track Faculty Position – Instructor in Information Security and Cyber Leadership

About the role

The University of South Carolina seeks to hire two Professional-Track Faculty Positions – Instructors in Information Security and Cyber Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Information Security and Cyber Leadership program curriculum.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Information Security and Cyber Leadership.
• Participate in departmental and university committees.
• Engage in research and scholarship relevant to Information Security and Cyber Leadership.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity.
• Experience teaching at the college level.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to contribute to program curriculum development.
• Teaching experience is not required but desired.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Information Security and Cyber Leadership principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging lectures and tutorials.

The starting salary range for this position is $69,835 per year.
