Professional Supply Management

Location: Product Development Center (PDC), Wauwatosa, WI. Full‑time, Shift 1.

Job Summary

This position supports product development by executing purchasing activity, developing and implementing commodity strategies, and managing the supply chain. Responsibilities include negotiation, contract management, and change management while measuring quality, cost, and delivery performance of all suppliers. The role serves as an interface between the supply management process and various manufacturing process areas.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate working knowledge and experience in Supply Management.
• Drive results with moderate guidance and direction.
• Impact quality of work in Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, Supply Chain, or Supply Base, and influence team members.
• Analyze problems and propose solutions using technical experience and judgment.
• Provide informal guidance to new Supply Management team members.
• Communicate complex information related to Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, Supply Base, or Supply Chain.
• Effectively interface with suppliers, external and internal engineering teams, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of product development and key business drivers such as Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, Supply Base, or Supply Chain (must).
• Ability to work effectively within a team and provide guidance to new members.
• Preferred: experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: SAP experience.
• Preferred: general Excel/Microsoft Office skills.
• Preferred: ability to read engineering blueprints/drawings.
• Preferred: project management experience.
• Preferred: motorcycle riding experience and knowledge of Harley‑Davidson motorcycles and accessories.
• Travel required: 10 % – 25 %.

Pay

Pay range: $66,700 – $100,100 (national average; actual pay varies by location and experience).
