Responsibilities

  • Develop business plan for assigned territory consistent with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
  • Conduct quality sales presentations to all targeted customers.
  • Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and regulations.
  • Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
  • Develop pre-call planning strategies for key targets.
  • Build positive and interactive relationships with peers, customers, and Company managers.
  • Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
  • Gather and utilize information from offices, pharmacists, and others to develop specific strategies for territory prescribers.
  • Leverage sample programs, literature, and other resources to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
  • Respond appropriately to customer requests in a timely and reliable manner.
  • Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).
  • Demonstrated business acumen.
  • Proven success in influence and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member to deliver results.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated.
  • Ability to travel throughout territory (may include overnight travel).
  • Must reside in territory geography.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
  • Authorization and ability to drive a Company leased or rental vehicle.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing).

Pay

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is:

  • $100,000 - $150,000 for Professional level
  • $108,000 - $162,000 for Senior level
