Responsibilities
- Develop business plan for assigned territory consistent with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to all targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
- Develop pre-call planning strategies for key targets.
- Build positive and interactive relationships with peers, customers, and Company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and utilize information from offices, pharmacists, and others to develop specific strategies for territory prescribers.
- Leverage sample programs, literature, and other resources to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Respond appropriately to customer requests in a timely and reliable manner.
- Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proven success in influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member to deliver results.
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to travel throughout territory (may include overnight travel).
- Must reside in territory geography.
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization and ability to drive a Company leased or rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing).
Pay
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is:
- $100,000 - $150,000 for Professional level
- $108,000 - $162,000 for Senior level
