About the role

Kleinfelder is seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor to join our team in the Ohio area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in land surveying projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the collection and analysis of spatial data.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Field Surveys: Execute field surveys using advanced surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners.
  • Boundary Determination: Analyze legal documents, deeds, and maps to establish and verify property boundaries.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze spatial data to produce accurate survey maps, plats, and reports.
  • Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance in all surveying activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other professionals, including engineers, architects, and GIS specialists, to integrate survey data into broader project plans.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment to guarantee accurate measurements.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, field notes, and reports related to surveying activities.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have your PS or ability to obtain your PS within a reasonable time.
  • Must have a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and grow teams.
  • 5+ Years survey experience.

Skills

  • Technical expertise in surveying.

Benefits

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is flexible, but preference will be given to candidates that live in the Toledo or Columbus areas.
