The successful candidate should be a great communicator in all aspects and possess characteristics of a servant leader.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Perform soil and groundwater sampling
• Carry out geologic evaluations
• Provide assessment staff training and development
• Manage task/project management and coordination
• Demonstrate leadership in all tasks and projects assigned, emphasizing and promoting Spectrum’s Vision (Serving businesses and individuals to build a stronger future for all) and maintaining a safe work environment
• Conduct daily activities in a manner that exemplifies Spectrum’s quality of work product standards and promote Spectrum’s overall company mission (To collectively offer innovative solutions to promote business, steward our environment, and enrich lives)

• Be willing to take on other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Geology
• 5+ years’ experience in the environmental field
• Professional Geologist (P.G.) certification preferred
• Possess an Alabama license as well as Tennessee license
• Willing to travel around the Nashville area and to the Alabaster office for training and meetings
