Professional Geologist
About the role
Spectrum Environmental, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to join their team of environmental professionals. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, at least 5 years of experience in the environmental field, and a Professional Geologist (P.G.) certification preferred. Key responsibilities include conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, geologic evaluations, assessment staff training and development, task/project management, and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
- Perform soil and groundwater sampling
- Carry out geologic evaluations
- Train and develop assessment staff
- Manage and coordinate tasks and projects
- Be prepared to take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology
- At least 5 years of experience in the environmental field
- A Professional Geologist (P.G.) certification preferred
- An Alabama license and a Tennessee license required
- Some travel within the Nashville area and to the Alabaster office for training and meetings
