Role Levels

  • Culinary Cook II (Entry-Level): Perfect for professionals looking to build foundational culinary skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, luxury kitchen environment.
  • Culinary Cook I (Lead-Level): Ideal for experienced culinarians ready to take ownership of preparation, execution, and maintaining the highest culinary standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare or assist in preparation of hot and cold food items as specified in specific work area.
  • Support breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service in restaurant or banquet setting.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment following safety guidelines.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and ServSafe standards.
  • Assists chef with maintaining the kitchen and keeping staff on task.
  • Understand and adjust recipes according to business levels.
  • Absorbs and completes mise en place and pars to set up the station.
  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Works cohesively as part of a team.
  • Focuses attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
  • Upholds and abides by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Takes required breaks.

At Higher Levels

  • You’ll take greater ownership of execution, quality control, and team support within your station.

What We Are Looking For

  • A High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two years of preferred culinary experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds and will be working in conditions that are both inside and outside at times.

Pay

  • Cook II: $18.56/hour
  • Cook I: $19.13/hour

  • Hours vary based on shift and position.
