Production Worker - Trimmer Raw Plant (Permanent/Full-Time)

About the role

This position is responsible for trimming/cutting various cuts of meats using a hand knife or whiz-knife. Proficiency in using hand knives and tolerance for wet and cold conditions are required.

Responsibilities

• Trimming/cutting various cuts of meats using hand knives or whiz-knife
• Work in a USDA facility specializing in further processing of beef, chicken, and pork for retail and food service markets
• Work Monday-Friday from 7:30 am until finished

Requirements

• Proficient in using hand knives
• Tolerance for wet and cold conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in meat cutting or similar field preferred

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand knives
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail

Benefits

• Starting pay: $15.75/hr
• $500 sign-on bonus ($250 after 90 days of employment and $250 after 180 days of employment) (Limited Time)
