Production Worker - Trimmer Raw Plant (Permanent/Full-Time)

About the role

This position is responsible for trimming/cutting various cuts of meats using a hand knife or whiz-knife. Proficiency in using hand knives and tolerance for wet and cold conditions are required.

Responsibilities

• Trim and cut various cuts of meats using hand knives or whiz-knives
• Work in a USDA facility specializing in further processing of beef, chicken, and pork for retail and food service markets
• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until the shift ends

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a USDA facility
• Must be proficient in using hand knives
• Tolerance for wet and cold conditions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in meat cutting or similar field preferred

• $500 sign-on bonus ($250 after 90 days of employment and $250 after 180 days of employment)
