Production Worker- Pressweld

Key Responsibilities

• Produces the required quantity of parts within the established specifications and tolerances.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures, including interpreting and translating engineering designs and documentation.
• Operates production equipment following prints and specifications.
• Assigned tasks may require hand tools, including grinders, polishers, and similar equipment.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced, including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly working environment.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to problemsolve and think analytically
• Read and comprehend simple verbal and written instructions and can work in a team environment
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by OSHA and environmental regulations

Education and Experience

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements
• Two or more years of manufacturing-related experience

Working Environment

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations
• Frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• The employee may lift and/or move up to 45 pounds without help
• Walking and standing on the Plant floor
