Production Worker (Paper Mill / Rotating Shifts)

About the role

PABCO® Paper, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, produces paper products from recycled content for gypsum board paper covering, bakery boxes, and more. Located in Vernon, your job as a Production Worker involves managing and operating machines to manufacture the finished product.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts to transport rolls of paper or bales of recovered fiber.
• Operates machinery on the production line to produce quality paper products.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain work area according to plant standards for safety, efficiency, and cleanliness.
• Aid others during equipment failures and special projects.
• Assist in general housekeeping duties in the production environment.
• Attend to down days and startup of production line procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety rules set by the company and government regulatory agencies, reporting and correcting hazardous conditions.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Reliability, initiative, and a commitment to success.
• Ability to work a rotating, 12-hour shift (Days and Nights).
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are required.

Qualifications

Forklift certification or experience is preferred. PABCO® Paper promotes a drug-free workplace.

Schedule

12-hour rotating shifts - Days, nights, and weekends. 7-day break every month. Starting pay at $23.55/hour for candidates with no previous manufacturing experience.
