Production Worker / Packaging Operator - Graveyard Shift

Salary: $19/hour. Shift: Wednesday–Saturday or Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Two-week training period at 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Full-time position requiring pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging and baler machinery in accordance with established safety guidelines.
• Assist other production areas as needed, including moving and wrapping completed products.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
• Assist Shift Leads with starting and stopping pellet mills.
• Communicate moisture or material issues to Shift Lead.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Bagging Operation

• Operate bagging machines, balers, shrink wrappers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and bag sealers.
• Stack bags on pallets, cover pallets, and place finished goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Accurately complete Bagger production reports.
• Fill pellet sample cups every ton for quality control and tag pallets with Quality Control tags (initials, date, ton number, shift).

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
• Good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
• Must pass company forklift training.
• Ability to read and interpret scales.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust weight, timing, and perform simple maintenance on baler and other machinery.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.
