Responsibilities
- Perform processes to complete bottle-filling assemblies and sub-assembly machines
- Follow written instructions on the work order for the production of various products
- Gather raw materials needed for producing products, help set up the production lines, and produce samples for quality inspection
- Upon inspection approval, produce product, label, pack, and load grouped orders onto pallets
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required
- Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision
- Utilize all material handling equipment safely, and efficiently, perform all required safety checks, and communicate the need for repairs
- Package bulk material as required by a work order
- Accept schedule and direction when there are changes in workloads
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Must have a good command of the English language and the ability to read, communicate, and understand written instructions
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line as they occur
- Understand KPMs and manufacturing packaging line processes
- Understand General Quality & Safety Awareness
- Understand Lean Principles
- Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Basic mathematical abilities
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
- Inventory Management System (JDE) knowledge

Pay
Hourly, Full-time (2nd shift), Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:30 am, occasionally overtime on Fridays

Physical and Mental Demands
- Ability to lift/carry up to 70 pounds occasionally and push/pull drums weighing up to 400 lbs. occasionally
- Stand, walk, and climb staircases frequently
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
- Subject to flexible hours or weekends, as business needs dictate
Working Environment
- Work performed in a warehouse environment and extreme heat (>80 degrees) during summer months
- May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shift from one station to another, during the production process
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – safety eye glasses and safety steel-toe shoes are required
- Work hazards – Safety concerns to include heavy products, light and heavy-duty machinery, forklifts, working in a congested and high activity warehouse
