Production Worker (Metal Utility Operator 3rd shift)

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% visual inspection as required per job instructions and pass a written visual test.
• Perform belting, stoning, buffing operations to remove visual and FPI imperfections beyond customer specifications.
• Perform a spot FPI test to ensure that defects are removed.
• Dimensionally inspect and repair castings by any of the following methods: hammering, arboring, twisting, stoning, belting, buffing and drilling.
• Maintain records as required.
• Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• Follow all applicable safety rules, works in a safe manner at all times.
• Verify calibration stickers.
• Operate Electronic gage as required.
• Must be able to read & understand finishing visual instructions.
• Verify routers are correct before working the job.

Qualifications

• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Prefered Qualifications: Good visual accuracy and strong hand eye coordination.

About the role

Howmet Aerospace is currently looking for a Metal Utility Operator to join the Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Midnight Shift position are Sunday Night to Thursday Night 10:30PM-6:30AM.

Pay

New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $25.00
After 12 Months: $27.71
