Production Worker I

Responsibilities

• Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Carryout verbal and written instructions from Foreman.
• Complete jobs in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
• Trained to complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified.
• Trained to set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools.
• Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.
• Work with quality and production teams to identify areas for process improvement.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a production environment.
• Average proficiency in mathematics.
• Able to prioritize and use time efficiently.
• Able to focus on problem solving and teamwork.
• Able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Good visual acuity.
• Able to use various hand and power tools.
