Production Worker I

About the role

TechLITE Insulation & Acoustics is a U.S.-owned manufacturer with over 50 years of experience in producing high-performance acoustic panels and specialty insulation systems. We serve various markets including architectural, industrial, transportation, and commercial sectors where sound control, thermal performance, and material innovation are critical.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, tend, and stop a variety of equipment to performance standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Understand and ensure conformance to specifications, and stop any non-conforming parts or products.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Take instructions from supervisors and the production manager.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Report visual and audible equipment faults to supervisors.

Requirements

• Machine operation experience, familiar with automated equipment.
• Experience in gluing and assembly of parts (foam material).
• Experience in working with equipment for part grinding and shaping (foam material).
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced open shop environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing work tasks throughout the day as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production environment, mechanically inclined individuals preferred.
• Entry-level machine operator experience preferred, but training will be provided.

Skills

• ISO, LEAN or other quality system experience (a plus).

• Full-time
• 5:00 am – 3:30 pm (10-hour shift)
• Monday – Thursday
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off
