Production Worker I-2nd Shift

About the role

Sonoco Products Company, a global leader in packaging solutions operating in over 34 countries, seeks a Production Worker for its Stockton, CA facility. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will support the manufacturing process by operating equipment safely and meeting plant goals.

Responsibilities

• Catch, bundle and stack partitions
• Catch strips and feed hoppers properly
• Identify and separate defective partitions from quality product
• Aid in various areas of the manufacturing process as directed
• Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety regulations

Requirements

• Maintain an orderly and clean work area
• Work well with others and demonstrate good communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal instructions
• Capable of standing for extended periods
• Ability to lift 35–50 lbs

Pay

$20.57 per hour plus a $0.40 shift premium for the second shift.

Schedule

Second shift: 3:30 pm – 12:00 am, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed.
