Production Worker - Exterior/ Siding /Roofing

About the role

Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. This is a non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the assigned area, specifically roofing, sheeting, soffit, fascia, siding, windows, and doors within the Exteriors Department.
• Keeps the work area neat and clean.
• Reads and uses a tape measure.
• Reads blueprints and orders.
• Communicates well with coworkers.
• Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Requirements

• Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing is desired.
