Responsibilities
- Lead production activities for your assigned team (7pm to 7am), ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent operations.
- Lead implementation and execution of the site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) program.
- Promote a strong safety culture by modeling expectations, reinforcing policies, and supporting environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Conduct shift safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training to build awareness and strengthen safe work practices.
- Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, quality, and compliance expectations.
- Maintain workflow, staffing, equipment, and process performance to meet production goals and customer expectations.
- Assign priorities, resolve shift issues, and adjust resources as needed to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Analyze operational results and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen overall performance.
- Support incident response, corrective actions, and accident investigations while driving continuous improvement.
- Help build a positive, team-oriented work environment that encourages trust, communication, and collaboration across departments.
- Maintain production and personnel standards by following and reinforcing company systems, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Ace degree with related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience.
- 2–3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people, organize work, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced operation.
- Working knowledge of production processes, workforce coordination, safety expectations, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with solid time management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills
- Experience coaching teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to balance safety, quality, and output in a high-volume operation
- Comfort working across departments to resolve issues and improve performance
Work Environment
This position works in an on-site manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to moving equipment, machine noise, and changing temperatures. Required personal protective equipment must be worn as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs as needed)
- Frequent use of hands and arms to operate equipment and handle materials
