Production Plant Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversight of daily manufacturing operations to meet production output, quality standards, and efficiency targets.
  • Maintenance of machinery and equipment for optimal performance, reporting maintenance needs and suggesting improvements.
  • Training, supervision, and evaluation of production staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
  • Management of inventory, timely data entry, tracking, and retrieval of production information.
  • Inspection of work in progress and finished goods for quality compliance, adjusting workflows as necessary.
  • Identification and implementation of process improvements to boost plant efficiency and product quality.
  • Analysis of production reports and operational data to troubleshoot manufacturing issues, reduce costs, and prevent delays.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • May work various shifts including day, evening, night, and rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Pay Range: $73k - $92k (depending on experience).
  • Work Experience: 3-5 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience.
  • Qualifications: Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, adapt to sudden changes, lift up to 150 pounds with assistance, and perform physical tasks as described.

About the Role

The Plant Supervisor oversees daily operations within the manufacturing plant to ensure optimal production efficiency, safety, and quality. This role involves coordinating manufacturing activities, supervising production teams, enforcing safety protocols, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Skills

Ability to lift, twist and carry up to 50-75 pounds, manipulate up to 160 pounds of product with material handling equipment and skids weighing up to 2,000 pounds utilizing pallet jack.
