Production Worker - 2nd Shift

About the role
The Production Worker supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with the preparation, movement, and handling of products in a food production environment. This role includes operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and performing sanitation duties to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace. Team members must be flexible, safety-focused, and willing to assist where needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the production, handling, and movement of products within the facility
- Operate production equipment and machinery as assigned
- Inspect products and materials to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Load and unload racks, containers, and materials
- Move products in and out of coolers, freezers, and storage areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
- Follow all safety, food quality, and company policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Cleaning and sanitation tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment, and removing trash
Physical Activity & Work Conditions
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in cold environments such as coolers and freezers
- Ability to work safely around food allergens including chocolate, wheat, dairy, eggs, and tree nuts
Requirements
- No previous experience required; training will be provided
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to assist in different areas as needed
- Willingness to work overtime as needed based on production demands
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Must successfully pass a background check and rapid drug screen
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: 5pm - 3am
- 2nd Shift: 8pm - 6am
