Production Welder - Senior Production Welder - Manufacturing
Job Duties
Under general supervision, uses specified welding equipment to assist and support manufacturing operations of parts and assemblies as required meeting regulatory requirements.
Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.
Job operations may consist of welding, cutting, brazing, hardfacing, or tacking.
Interprets and understands work instructions (prints, shop packets and verification of all procedures related as per quality manual).
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in the use of computers
- Review quality of work against standards both visually and written
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments
- Perform manufacturing math calculations
- Use of specialized lifting equipment
- Perform post-work inspection of work
Qualifications
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience
- Three years of experience and certification in welding or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to operate overhead crane and hand tools such as grinders and hammers
Safety Procedures
Safety procedures must be followed diligently at all times i.e. Perform welding assembly process in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards and policies.
Skills
Primary function will be GMAW and GTAW welding and a variety of material types including Inconel and High Chrome.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Work Shift (NIGHTS) Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00am Overtime on weekends is required based on business needs.
