Located close to the Michigan/Ohio border, Toledo Tool & Die has diligently served the people of both states since 1940. Founded on the principle of delivering the finest work possible for our clients, we now operate three facilities in the Toledo area and one in Pioneer, Ohio.
Schedule
2nd Shift – 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts:
- Week 1: Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days
- Week 2: Off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days
This rotation includes every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Overtime is required, including weekends and some holidays.
Pay
$25/hour plus a $1.50/hour shift premium for 2nd shift. Weekly pay.

Responsibilities
- Set up welding equipment and supplies before executing job orders; test and measure finished products.
- Operate equipment safely and effectively for welding.
- Make minor repairs to welding machinery when necessary to maintain product and machine standards.
- Ensure sufficient quantity of repaired parts to sustain delivery schedules.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to industry regulations.
- Handle time accounting and complete work orders.
- Respond to warning signals and alarms, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Regulate or turn off machines in emergency situations, following supervisory instructions quickly and precisely.
- Follow all company procedures, including quality policies, safety policies, OSHA, EPA, ASME, and NEC standards.
- Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- 2 years of experience MIG and/or TIG welding steel and galvanized steel (preferred).
- 2 years of experience operating hand and power tools (preferred).
- Aptitude in spatial reasoning, attention to detail, and skilled craftsmanship.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with machines and general tooling.
- Skilled in hand and power tool usage.
- Ability to follow proper safety procedures.
- Proactive with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and consistent attendance.
- Willingness to learn and safety-minded.
- Ability to work with employees from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
