Production Welder- 2nd Shift

About the role

As a member of the welding team, this position will be responsible for operating welding machines and working with a variety of weld fixtures while adhering to the CWB welding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively in a team environment
• Weld using various materials and techniques (specifically MIG)
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and/or process sheets
• Interpret weld symbols
• Complete tasks while ensuring performance targets and quality are met

Requirements

• Two to three years' welding experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to perform required duties with minimal supervision
• Thorough knowledge of all types of welding procedures and practices

Qualifications

• Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Must be able to train on days for up to 90 days.

Pay

Per Union Contract: $28.57 per hour
