Production Welder- 2nd Shift

About the role
As a member of the welding team, this position will be responsible for operating welding machines and working with a variety of weld fixtures while adhering to the CWB welding procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Weld using various materials and techniques (specifically MIG)
- Read and interpret welding blueprints and/or process sheets
- Interpret weld symbols
- Complete tasks while ensuring performance targets and quality are met
Requirements
- Two to three years' welding experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset
- Able to perform required duties with minimal supervision
- Thorough knowledge of all types of welding procedures and practices
Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. Must be able to train on days for up to 90 days.
Pay
$28.57 per hour (per Union Contract).
