Responsibilities

  • Develop and audit training assignments, procedures, and curriculums.
  • Translate verbal information into clearly written procedures.
  • Work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines, simultaneously managing multiple documentation projects.
  • Demonstrate exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Exhibit excellent listening and observation skills.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Judge and control documents with consistency among the process in production.
  • Coordinate with disciplines to establish the workflow of manufacturing training.
  • Manage non-exempt members throughout the process under effective quality, cost, and delivery aspects.
  • Coordinate with the HR group and other disciplines to develop and control a skill versatility matrix with grading scales with impartiality throughout the process.
  • Develop and drive metrics to meet production needs.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements

To ensure health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Communications, or a related field

Essential Qualifications

  • 10 years of manufacturing experience
  • 5 years of supervisory experience directly in manufacturing training
  • Working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking
