The Production Training Specialist
Facilitates a smooth onboarding of new hires in the manufacturing environment, executes a comprehensive training plan, and accelerates the novice-to-effective employee transition while ensuring all safety, quality, productivity, improvement, and collaboration criteria and practices are met.
- Identify organizational and functional training needs within manufacturing.
- Create and implement technical training programs.
- Develop and update learning materials (instructions, manuals, e-learning, guides).
- Collaborate with HR to track development plans.
- Participate in change management and continuous improvement projects.
- Track and report on key learning and development metrics.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of training programs.
- Collaborate with HR to coordinate the apprenticeship program.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Support leadership, performance, culture, and engagement programs in partnership with HR.
- Ensure training programs are aligned and in compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety management system requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA and others).
- Support internal and external audits by providing training and competency-related evidence.
Skills and Experience
- Technical certification or degree in manufacturing or similar industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant position.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.

- Competitive hourly rate salary: $20-25 (commensurate with experience).
- Monday to Friday (2nd shift) 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm or (3rd shift) 10:00 pm to 6am.
