About the role

Test Technician II tests and troubleshoots a variety of high voltage power supplies and electronic sub-assemblies to component level. This role performs independently and communicates directly with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support a culture of continual improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Understand electronic theory and electrical circuitry
  • Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies (1-2 years minimum experience)
  • Read and interpret schematics and circuits
  • Troubleshoot down to component level
  • Work from written test procedures (ATP)
  • Demonstrate soldering skills
  • Use MS Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiently
  • Test and calibrate high voltage power supplies to meet customer specifications for performance and safety
  • Troubleshoot and repair high voltage power supplies
  • Record functional data during testing phases and analyze results for validity

Experience in a high voltage power supplies environment is a plus.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following:

  • Electronics certification (1-year program) with a minimum of 3 years of electronics test experience
  • Associate of Applied Science degree (2-year program) in Electronics or adjacent field with 2 years of electronics test experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of electronics test experience
  • “C” school or equivalent military technical training specialized in Electronics
  • Union apprenticeship or similar vocational training with 2 years of electronics test experience
  • At least 4 years of practical work experience in electronics test

Pay

Our good faith estimate of the hourly rate range for this role is $25.50 to $34.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
