Production Technician (Prepreg)
About the role
We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team and learn the fundamentals of composite production in the Finishing area. This entry-level role is designed to give you hands-on experience with production machinery, including setup, safe operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Read and follow work instructions
- Use computers and software with moderate proficiency
- Show high level of attention to detail
- Frequent movement, standing, and pushing/pulling; ability to stand for extended periods
- Understand and meet quality expectations
- Work independently and as part of a team with moderate supervision; able to perform job duties with minimal guidance
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous production experience strongly preferred

Pay
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Shift premium for night shift (5:45pm - 6:00am): $3.00 per hour
Schedule
2-2-3 Schedule from 5:45am to 6:00pm (Day Shift) / 5:45pm - 6:00am (Night Shift)
Physical Requirements
- The ability to hear, speak, use hands/fingers and the repetitive motions of hands/wrists is frequent
- Ability to occasionally lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds
- The ability to lift more than 40 lbs as part of a team lift
- Frequently be able to stand for up to 12 hours
- Accurate visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses, to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Ability to frequently climb stairs, bend at the waist, kneel, twist and reach
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment for extended periods of time
- Ability to be respirator fit and wear respirator if required
Environmental
- Production environment
- Occasional exposure to a wide range of temperatures
- Works with potentially hazardous materials including epoxy resins and/or components
- May be required to wear personal protective equipment for extended periods of time
