This position involves critical process monitoring, troubleshooting, and adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines. Working in a cleanroom is essential to maintaining the quality and safety of our therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
  • Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
  • Clean, sanitize, and monitor manufacturing and associated support areas, including cleanrooms.
  • Provide critical process monitoring and troubleshooting; diagnose equipment problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Train new employees and assist in decisions on product acceptability.
  • Conduct cGMP audits of department areas and assist in updating SOPs.
  • Ensure machinery, equipment, and utilities are in safe and working condition; perform minor adjustments and repairs.
  • Manage product/process changes, maintenance, and generation of accurate records, reports, and documentation.
  • Perform tasks related to drug formulation, weighing raw materials, cleaning, mixing sophisticated tanks and equipment, distilled water sanitization, and filter integrity testing.
  • May perform mold changes and establish setup sheets.
  • Responsible for the efficient use of chemicals, supplies, tools, equipment, and personnel, including establishing preventive maintenance schedules.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required; two-year technical degree preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes:
    • Technical experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
    • Basic knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
    • Basic understanding of Shop Math.
    • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, wrenches, multimeter, wire stripper, and crimping tool.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, analyze data, and make strong decisions.

Physical / Safety Requirements

  • Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends.
  • Use of hands and fingers to manipulate equipment is required.
  • Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and crawling.

Pay

The base salary for this position is $45,572.80 annually. The estimated range reflects an anticipated salary range, with individual pay based on location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
