Production Technician I NC - 2nd Shift

PCB manufactures sensors used by design engineers and predictive maintenance professionals to test and measure vibration, pressure, force, acoustics, load and shock for test, measurement, monitoring and control requirements. About the role

As a Production Technician I (2nd Shift), you will perform a variety of tasks under direct supervision, requiring the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper ESD procedures as outlined in the ESD manual.
• Understand and comply with manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS 9100, TCS).
• Perform tasks efficiently and accurately by following established written procedures.
• Refer to documentation (drawings, routers, BoMs, and specifications) to perform simple assembly on various product lines.
• Write legibly, sign, and date traveler when steps are completed.
• Maintain an organized work environment and keep equipment/department neat and clean.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and other departments; communicate issues with product, assembly documentation, or schedule.
• Ensure material and equipment calibration stickers are not expired before use; notify supervisor if expired or near expiration.
• Follow safety rules and maintain an orderly work area.
• Become knowledgeable in the use of basic assembly equipment in the department.
• Inspect all workmanship and special processes to ensure quality before handing off to the next operation.
• Learn and use microscope, basic tools, fine hand tools, epoxy/cures, inspection processes, and soldering techniques.
• Perform tasks such as soldering, spot welding, and washing during assembly.
• Dedicate skills to achieve zero-defect status, demonstrating commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction.
• Provide information to supervisor and co-workers to positively affect quality and output.
• Perform other related duties as directed to ensure efficient operation of the department and PCB.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent (required).
• Entry-level experience.
• Basic background in soldering, computer skills, electronics, and problem-solving (desired).
• Ability to travel as needed.

Monday – Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
