Production Technician I
About the role
The Production Technician II assists in the production of bulk dietary ingredients by completing daily product schedules in Mixing, Grinding, Batching, and Packaging areas at the North Salt Lake, UT plant.
Responsibilities
- Follow all standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Procedures
- Clean, prepare, and organize process areas
- Read and understand all instructions listed on Load Sheets
- Complete paperwork and initial/sign where required as steps of process are completed
- Return all unused raw materials to appropriate locations
- Absorb and assist within department and in other departments as directed by supervisor
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or manual labor preferred
Qualifications
- Basic math and English reading skills
- Understanding of weights and measurements
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Punctual, reliable, and solid work ethic
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices including the proper wearing of clean protective clothing, following personal hygiene standards, and adherence to food/drink/tobacco restrictions

Pay
Wages start at $20.67/hr
Schedule
Full-time schedules available, 1st shift - 6:30am - 2:30pm. Daily overtime, weekend work, and schedule changes may be required based on production needs. Payday is every other week on Fridays.
