Production Technician

Duties/Responsibilities

• Use hands to wire (fixture), de-wire (de-fixture), inspect, clean, and pack customer parts (metal parts, such as injection molds, gun slides, gears, pinions, knife blades, etc.)
• Perform job duties independently after training, with little supervision
• Keep work environment clean and safe, wearing appropriate PPE (glasses, gloves, and mask when needed)
• Lift 50 lbs. (solo) and 50+ lbs. (team), stand for long periods, physically move around the production floor to move parts and carts from one station to the next
• Have good manual dexterity, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn new things
• Cross train and perform other duties as needed and assigned by the Manager

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Able to lift 50 lbs. (solo) and 50+ lbs. (team), bend, and move
• Stand for long periods of time, physically move around the production floor to move parts from one station to the next
• Good manual dexterity, strong attention to detail, and willing to learn new things
• Pass background check and drug screen
• Wear appropriate PPE as required
• Prior production and/or machine operating experience or machine interface experience
• Able to troubleshoot machines and make adjustments
• Able to train on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks

Education/Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a production or warehouse environment or equivalent internal experience preferred

Hours

1st shift; 6am-3pm
