Production Technician

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Understand Total Fire Protection’s strategy, business, and growth initiatives.
• Cleaning, painting, and removing/applying proper stickers and signage.
• Performing maintenance, testing, and repairs of extinguishers.
• Refilling and recharging extinguishers to return to active service.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Manage materials and inventory throughout the shop and storage areas.
• Provide direct assistance to the Field Service Technicians for daily material and stocking requirements.
• Assist in maintaining, cleaning, and preparing the shop and fleet vehicles for daily work requirements.
• Other hands-on daily work tasks as assigned by the Shop Manager or other team members.

Requirements

• Be 18 years old or older.
• Possess your GED, High School diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid and current state driver’s license.
• Must have the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs for an extended period of time and be able to lift and carry a minimum of thirty (30) pounds.
• Prior Field Service Technician experience at a Fire and Life Safety company a plus.
• Prior experience maintaining, testing, and repairing fire extinguishers a plus.
• Hands-on warehouse and/or maintenance experience a plus.
