Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain product specifications by adjusting production processes or equipment.
• Adjust fluid levels, flows, temperatures, pressures, and start/stopping of mechanical equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and monitor reaction parameters.
• Troubleshoot equipment, devices, or products.
• Collect and analyze samples for laboratory testing.
• Document, record, and communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and other production crews.
• Package finished products in bulk or packaged containers.
• Operate a forklift, power & hand tools, and computers.
• Absorb hazardous chemicals during off-loading.
• Perform minor mechanical maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant chemical manufacturing knowledge/experience.
• Knowledge of general math and chemistry.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse team members.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing using the English language.
• Self-motivation, leadership skills, adaptability, oral communication, decision making, frustration tolerance, flexibility, customer/quality focus, and teamwork.
